Conventional thermal curing typically relies on long ovens and high-temperature heating, requiring significant floor space and energy while also generating VOC emissions that need to be managed.
EB curing directly initiates reactions in the surface coating using electrons, enabling rapid curing with relatively low heat input. For pre-painted steel, coated aluminum, and other high-performance metal surfaces, EB can support coating systems with high solids, low VOC, low yellowing, and strong surface durability, while offering new options for continuous metal coil production.
