Many substrates already meet bulk-performance requirements, but their surfaces may not. EB grafting uses the electron beam to create active sites on the surface and then attach functional monomers to the surface layer. It is suited to materials that need functions to remain stable during washing, friction, solvents, heat exposure or long-term use.
Functional Textile Grafting
Surface functionalization for fibers, nonwovens and textiles to evaluate hydrophilicity, water repellency, stain resistance, adsorption or other durable functions.
Separator / Battery Separator Grafting
Surface treatment for PE, PP, PVDF and related membranes to improve wettability, electrolyte uptake and interface bonding.
Filtration and Adsorption Media Grafting
Surface modification for filter media, porous materials and functional carriers to evaluate filtration, separation or adsorption capability.
