EB Decorative Film & Paper Coating Curing
Controlled Gloss, Texture & High-Performance Surface Finishes
EBR roll-to-roll EB systems support continuous surface curing of printed decorative paper and decorative films such as PETG, PP, and PVC, for applications including wall panels, doors, flooring, worktops, and cabinet surfaces.
Decorative films and papers define woodgrain, stone, solid-color, and graphic effects, while the surface coating determines wear, stain, scratch, and yellowing resistance, as well as the stability of touch and gloss.
Depending on the target surface effect, EBR systems can use direct EB curing or combine EB with 172 nm excimer treatment. This makes it possible to create high-gloss, matte, soft-touch, jade-like, and textured finishes while preserving the printed design and color.
For decorative films, decorative papers, and other roll-to-roll surface materials, EBC supports the transition from initial testing to industrial production, including process parameter validation and EBR system configuration.
